We are gravely concerned by Israel’s systematic violations of Palestinian human rights.
Too often, our Reform Jewish institutions support this oppressive system.
We believe that support for human rights and opposition to racism are central to Judaism: the Torah teaches that all humans are created in the image of
G-d. Our history as a racially-oppressed group compels our anti-racist solidarities.
We are motivated by love and care for the Palestinian people as our neighbours and family, for the people of Israel and Jews worldwide, for our Jewish culture and values, and for the land of Israel-Palestine.
Our mission is to end the direct and tacit support of Canadian Reform Jewish institutions, locally and nationally, for the Israeli occupation, human rights abuses, and settler violence in Israel-Palestine.
